CHCC caddies have been thoroughly trained on the rules and etiquette of golf, and they have been instructed to replace divots, rake out traps, and hold flags, as well as to perform the other duties that make a fine caddie.

The CHCC Caddie Program has been a part of our Club's history since inception in 1921. We are proud to be home to numerous Evans Scholars over the past 30 years and we urge members to use and support our caddies whenever possible.

Whether it's a casual business meeting, family dinner, or relaxing after a perfect day of golf, our dining facilities offer the perfect place to connect and unwind. Cascade Hills is a private club, therefore all events must either be hosted or sponsored by a member of the Club.

The Club has several event spaces varying in size that can accommodate any group size. Whether it is an intimate dinner or a gathering for 300, we have the perfect space for your event.

Living Room | comfortable, casual atmosphere with a beautiful marble fireplace & private bar that's suitable for events of up to 60 people

Board Room | convenient and private conference room with adjustable leather armchairs perfect for meetings seating up to 12 comfortably

Fireside Room | casually elegant and adaptable space with a marble fireplace and wide picture windows overlooking our golf course that seats up to 30 for a plated meal

York Room | spacious and elegant room with chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling picture windows that accommodates a wide variety of events and can seat up to 60 for a plated meal

Ballroom | grand ballroom with spectacular views of the golf course, elegant chandeliers, and a dance floor which can seat up to 240 guests (190 with the dance floor open)*

*This space can be combined with the neighboring York Room for an additional 60 seats, and has two conjoining outdoor spaces that can be utilized, as well.

Founded in 1921, Cascade Hills Country Club remains one of the top premier private clubs in Western Michigan. The challenging 6800-yard, Par-71, Jack Daray Sr. layout boasts classic design elements and superb course conditions throughout the rolling property. Protected by fast, push-up style greens, the refrain "don't be above the hole" remains sage advice to members and guests. The course offers a variety of demanding shots over the 18-holes that keep the player engaged, particularly on the four stout Par-3's where a player will likely be expected to utilize four different clubs when teeing off!

Cascade Hills supports USGA qualifying events along with local and state amateur events, including the 1931, '38, '41, and '45 Michigan Open Championships, the 1940 Women's State Amateur and is the selected venue of the 2021 Men's State Amateur in the Club's Centennial year.

Sponsored events are a wonderful way for members to host functions for family, friends, or familiar organizations. As a sponsoring member, all we need from you is your agreement to sponsor. On June 28th, 2019, we had the pleasure of having our daughter's wedding reception at Cascade Hills Country Club. When people ask me, "how did things go?" I use two words: seamless and perfect! From the start of the day getting ready at the Club, cocktail hour outside and the last guest leaving that evening, our daughter's wedding couldn't have been better. Every friend and family member we talked to that evening through today have all raved about the service and especially the food. The filet was cooked to perfection and the entire entrée stayed hot which is rare at any event with over 100 people in attendance. Paula Balzeski and her team are superstars and she is a true asset to our Club! Thank you CHCC, Chef, Paula and the entire team for making our little girl's wedding dreams come true!

I have hosted dozens of monthly business functions and presentations, as well as holiday parties for our company at the event space in Cascade Hills Country Club over several years now. There are many reasons I keep coming back. The setting is extremely comfortable and looks like it should be in a 5-star hotel in Chicago; yet it is located right here in Grand Rapids with easy parking and central access to expressways. The culinary team has created a menu that would be hard to replicate at other private function spaces and the food keeps bringing clients back! The biggest reason I call CHCC home is because of the people! They take care of everything, down to napkins that match the company colors. Every time I step into the room for a presentation, I have total confidence that every detail has already been addressed before I arrive to ensure a flawless event. I would pay top dollar for that kind of peace of mind and it's even better that all of it comes at an extremely reasonable expense.

The Vintners Club is a great social and educational opportunity. Members who join receive many benefits! Including a themed monthly tasting with light hors d'oeuvres hosted by Erik Pohl and our knowledgeable vendors, access to highly allocated wines throughout the entire year, priority reservations to wine dinners and wine events, and 20% above cost "To Go" wine. Membership fees will also apply toward food and beverage minimums. Members also receive complimentary attendance to the Club's Spring & Fall Wine Expo.

The Club features many amenities including 4 miles of all purpose trails for running, walking and biking. Other amenities include an Olympic size swimming pool, Fitness Center, and excellent dining opportunities!

When we plan our events we continually strive to provide a "special client experience" and that is what Paula and her team deliver each and every time. From the preparation phase and through the end of the event, our team can always count on the people, the food and the facilities at Cascade Hills CC to be the very best, which is what our clients deserve. Sheltered within the rolling hills of Grand Rapids Township, Cascade Hills Country Club offers championship caliber golf along with peaceful serenity. Each of our 27 holes have been designed to take full advantage of the beautiful, natural topography, making it playable for each individual's skill level. Cascade Hills features an 18-hole championship course and our 9-hole par 3 course, The Park, opened Spring 2020.

Having utilized the facilities for more than a dozen years, CHCC remains the best option in Grand Rapids for hosting our business, personal and organizational events. With its convenient location and a variety of excellent Meeting rooms, CHCC has been able to accommodate group needs and make our guests feel welcome. The quality of food and service never disappoints.

All of the elements came together seamlessly and so very beautifully for our son's wedding reception on August 18, 2018. Our guests mingled on the Terrace over cocktails and delicious appetizers before being welcomed into the Ballroom to find their places at the beautifully orchestrated and unconventional table layout to accommodate all of our guests! Paula and her staff graciously honored our wishes to have EVERYONE seated in the same room! The Chefs and Servers were incredible! The food was served hot and delicious and in a very timely and organized manner. The Bartenders kept our guests entertained the entire night which added to the fun and excitement! It took a team of hard work, impeccable detail, and wonderful communication to pull this off, and it was completely worth it to witness a love so powerful and strong that touched our hearts forever!!! Happy one year Anniversary Zack and Samantha Rinvelt!

We were planning on getting married at CHCC, but due to the shutdown, I was unable to be married on site. Since the only operation they could still complete was takeout meals for small gatherings, Paula made certain that we had THE BEST experience possible with that aspect of our wedding day. The hot food was piping hot, and tasted just as spectacular as it would have in the club itself - everyone in our mini wedding said it was absolutely amazing! We were so grateful for her proactive communication, professionalism, creative input, and effort across many months of planning and re-planning - she managed to make us still feel special in vastly different circumstances than we'd originally expected.
